These terms cover use of icewolfdesigns.com.au and, where we agree a job, the design and build work. A written quote or package page overrides these terms if they conflict.

The site

Content on this site is general information about my services. Packages and timing on the site are a guide. The quote I send you is the price for that job.

A 15-minute chat is free and does not oblige either of us to proceed.

Quotes, deposits, and payment

Work starts when the deposit for the agreed package is paid.

You will see a real, password-protected preview — the main page first, then the rest of the site — before the balance is due. A stage payment may be required after the main-page preview, before I finish the remaining pages. The balance is due on launch.

Deposits are for time reserved and work started. If you cancel after work has started, the deposit is not refunded to the extent it covers work already done.

What you provide

You supply photos, logo, and wording, or approve what I write from your notes. You confirm you have the right to use that material. You review previews and give decisions in reasonable time. Delays in content delay the date.

What you get

A custom site built for your business, mobile layout, forms, technical SEO including schema.org on the live Icewolf-hosted site, SSL, and hosting as described in the package.

Domain and email setup is free if you buy them through hostdonut.com. You remain the account holder for those.

For 30 days after launch, content changes (photos, text, small wording fixes) are free. After that, everyday edits are yours in the editor, or quoted if you want me to do them.

Bug fixes are included while you stay on Icewolf hosting. New pages, new features, or a redesign are a separate quote.

Shopify projects are a separate package. Shopify’s own fees and terms apply to the store. Those sites are not hosted the same way and will not match Icewolf-hosted speed.

Ownership

You own your name, logo, copy, and photos.

Until the project is paid in full, the site stays mine and may stay passworded. After payment, you own the delivered website content and design for that project.

I keep the right to use the underlying build method, tools, and non-client-specific code on other jobs, and to show the finished site in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Hosting

Hosting is monthly, billed as on the package ($19 Landing, $49 Starter and Business, unless a quote says otherwise). It covers the site staying online, SSL, and included support as described. It is not a rebuild.

I can suspend hosting for unpaid fees after notice. You can cancel hosting with reasonable notice; I will help point the domain elsewhere. I am not obliged to keep a copy after a reasonable handover period.

No ranking promise

I set the site up properly for search. I do not guarantee a Google position, leads, or sales.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the site or a site I build for you for anything unlawful, or to infringe someone else’s rights.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for lost profits, lost leads, or indirect loss. My liability for a job is limited to the fees you paid me for that job in the previous 12 months.
